Delhi Police Nabs Proclaimed Offender Hamid in Jaipur
Delhi Police arrested Hamid, a proclaimed offender wanted in multiple robbery cases, from Jaipur. Hamid, originally from Ghaziabad, has 24 criminal cases against him in Delhi and UP. He was working as a clothes seller near Ajmer Fort at the time of arrest. The arrest was made following a tip-off.

Delhi Police has successfully arrested Hamid, a man from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, who was wanted in multiple robbery cases, from Jaipur, Rajasthan, officials said on Monday.
The accused, Hamid, has a history of criminal involvement with 24 cases registered against him in Delhi and UP. He had been declared a proclaimed offender by a city court in a robbery case in Bhajanpura, Delhi.
The arrest was made following a tip-off. Hamid was apprehended while working as a clothes seller for tourists near Ajmer Fort. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Amit Goel revealed that Hamid had turned to illicit activities, such as robbery, due to a financial crunch. His criminal activities also included violations of the Arms Act and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
