Four Kanwariyas from Haryana have been apprehended in Uttarakhand after allegedly attacking a parking lot employee with swords during a disagreement over parking fees, according to police reports.

The incident, which resulted in severe head injuries for the parking lot employee, occurred at the Janaki Pul parking lot near the Neelkanth temple on Saturday evening. Muni ki Reti police station in-charge Ritesh Shah confirmed that the Kanwariyas had parked their tractor-trolley at the lot.

Upon their return from a temple visit, the Kanwariyas engaged in an altercation with the employee, leading to the attack. Based on a complaint filed by the parking lot's contractor, the accused — identified as Mahant Saurabh Giri Naga Baba, Divya alias Deepu, Rajat, and Arun — were arrested. All four hail from Sonipat, Haryana.
