With UPSC Chairman Manoj Soni resigning ahead of his term citing personal reasons, the Congress alleges that he was 'nudged out' given the current controversies surrounding the Commission.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has accused the BJP-RSS of systematically infringing on the autonomy and integrity of India's constitutional bodies, compromising their reputation.

'The numerous scandals within the UPSC are a cause for national concern. PM Modi and his Personnel Minister must come clean, as cases of unqualified individuals faking credentials have surfaced,' Kharge stated on X.
