A tragic incident occurred at the Uttam Nagar West Metro Station on Thursday afternoon when a woman jumped off an elevated platform. The police confirmed her death shortly after, stating she was declared brought dead at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital.
Authorities are currently working to identify the woman, who is believed to be in her mid-40s. A police officer mentioned that no belongings were found on her person that could aid in the identification process.
CCTV footage from the metro station and surrounding areas is being scrutinized, and human intelligence efforts are underway to establish her identity, said the police.
