Mihir Shah, the prime accused in the Mumbai BMW hit-and-run case, was remanded to 14-day judicial custody by a court on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old was arrested on July 9, two days after his BMW allegedly struck a two-wheeler, killing Kaveri Nakhwa (45) and injuring her husband, Pradeep, in Worli.
Produced before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate S P Bhosale after his remand expired, police requested an extension to gather more information on his harborers.
