Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has resigned to take up the role of EU’s next foreign policy chief. She will serve as Estonia's caretaker prime minister until a new government is established, expected by early August.

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has submitted her resignation to the Estonian president on Monday, public broadcaster ERR reported.
Kallas was picked by European leaders to become the EU's next foreign policy boss. She will remain as Estonia's caretaker prime minister until the next government is confirmed by early August, ERR said.
