Student Assaulted in School Washroom: A Gwalior Shocker
A Class VII student from a prominent Gwalior school was allegedly assaulted by a senior student in the school's washroom. The incident occurred in the health centre of the school. An official complaint has been lodged, and the accused is charged under the POCSO Act.

A shocking incident took place at a renowned school in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, where a Class VII student was allegedly sodomised by a senior schoolmate, according to a police official.
The horrifying event occurred on Saturday in the washroom of the school's health centre, the official added.
Following a complaint from the school's principal, the accused, who is in Class IX, has been charged under various provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Additional Superintendent of Police Niranjan Sharma informed reporters.
Both the 12-year-old victim and the accused are minors and reside in the school's hostel, as per police records.
The school management has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
