In a firm warning to those attempting to disrupt peace in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohita Sharma asserted that such actions will be met with stringent consequences.

During her visit to the remote Chassana area, Sharma reiterated the police's dedication to maintaining a secure environment, especially in the wake of a deadly terror attack that left nine dead and 41 injured on June 9. The attack targeted a bus carrying pilgrims returning from the Shiv Khori temple.

'We are committed to ensuring peace and security in the region. Anyone attempting to disturb this will be dealt with an iron hand,' Sharma emphasized. She reviewed the ongoing anti-terror operations and strategies to counter threats from Pakistan-based handlers. In recognition of their bravery, Sharma also rewarded officers involved in a successful anti-terror operation last year.
