BSF Intercepts Pak Drone Carrying Arms Near Punjab Border
The Border Security Force intercepted a drone from Pakistan near Punjab's Fazilka district, seizing a packet with three pistols. The drone was fired upon and recovered along with the arms. In another incident, a packet containing 2.3 kg of heroin was recovered from Gurdaspur district.

The Border Security Force (BSF) intercepted a drone coming from the Pakistani side and seized a packet with three pistols near the international border in Punjab's Fazilka district on Saturday, according to a BSF official.
Upon noticing the drone, which was coming from the Pakistani side, the BSF personnel opened fire at it. An extensive search operation later led to the recovery of a China-made drone along with the packet.
The parcel contained three pistols and seven magazines, as confirmed by the BSF official. The recovery occurred in an agricultural field adjacent to Maharsona village in Fazilka district.
In a separate incident, BSF recovered a packet containing 2.3 kg of heroin from a field near Rattar Chattar village in Gurdaspur district. The discovery was made based on specific intelligence. The packet was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and had an improvised nylon loop with two illuminating sticks attached to it, according to the BSF official.
