AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh has accused the BJP and its central government of putting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's life at risk while he is in jail. Over a press conference on Saturday, Singh claimed that Kejriwal has lost 8.5 kg and his blood sugar levels have dangerously dropped below 50 mg/dL multiple times.
According to Singh, Kejriwal's weight reduction from 70 kg, at the time of his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21, to 61.5 kg indicates a possible serious ailment that remains undiagnosed due to a lack of medical tests. Kejriwal's family and the AAP are increasingly concerned about his deteriorating health condition.
Singh alleged that the BJP's intention is to keep Kejriwal in jail to further aggravate his health issues. Despite being granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in the money laundering case registered by the ED, Kejriwal remains in jail due to his arrest in the excise policy 'scam' case by the CBI.
