Foreign Ministers from the BIMSTEC Member States paid a joint call on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today. During their meeting, PM Modi had fruitful discussions with the Ministers on enhancing regional cooperation across various sectors including connectivity, energy, trade, health, agriculture, science, security, and people-to-people exchanges.

The Prime Minister emphasized BIMSTEC's role as a catalyst for economic and social growth. He reaffirmed India's commitment to fostering a peaceful, prosperous, resilient, and secure BIMSTEC region, underscoring its importance to India's Neighbourhood First and Look East Policies, as well as its SAGAR vision for Security and Growth for All in the Region.
