A 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed near the railway tracks in Nathu Colony of Delhi's Shahdara, police reported on Monday.

The victim remains unidentified, although three suspects, including two juveniles, have been taken into custody.

Police received two emergency calls around 8:15 pm about a stabbing incident near the Nathu Colony flyover. Upon arrival, it was discovered the injured had been transported to GTB Hospital.

''Initial investigations indicate multiple stab wounds,'' stated Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Surendra Chaudhary. ''We found Rs 3,000 in his pocket.''

The wounds were believed to be caused by a sharp object, with injuries on the left side of his back and right hand. ''He was declared dead on arrival,'' the DCP added.

Despite efforts, the man has not yet been identified.

CCTV footage from surrounding areas revealed suspicious movements of three individuals, who were seen taking their bike near a wine shop.

''Following the trail, we identified the suspects as Gaurav (25) and his two juvenile accomplices, all from Ghaziabad. The bike used for the escape has been recovered,'' the DCP explained.

Interrogation revealed the altercation began over a glass bottle that was thrown on the floor, resulting in a shard striking one of the accused. An argument ensued, culminating in the stabbing. The investigation is ongoing.
