The incident, which occurred Sunday afternoon, saw Pradhan enjoying with his friends when he ventured into deep waters, unable to be saved despite their desperate attempts.

Ranpur SHO Bhanwar Singh stated that efforts to recover Pradhan's body ceased at nightfall and resumed Monday, with the divers from Kota Municipal Corporation finally succeeding. His remains were sent to New Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem pending his family's arrival.
