On June 21, 2024, the Directorate General of Resettlement, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, hosted a Job Fair at Air Force Station, Hindon (Ghaziabad) aimed at facilitating re-employment opportunities for ex-servicemen. The event garnered an exceptional response from ex-servicemen hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Haryana, with a total of 3,120 participants from the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Key Highlights:

Participation: The Job Fair featured 51 companies offering a combined total of 1,250 job vacancies and 635 entrepreneurship opportunities, providing a diverse array of career options for ex-servicemen.

Employment Prospects: Companies presented opportunities ranging from senior supervisors to mid/senior level managers, strategic planners, and project directors. The fair served as a pivotal platform for ex-servicemen to showcase their technical and administrative skills acquired during their military service.

Corporate Benefits: Participating corporations benefited from gaining access to a pool of experienced, disciplined, and well-trained ex-servicemen, enhancing their workforce with individuals possessing unique skill sets and leadership capabilities.

Distinguished Guests: The inauguration of the Job Fair was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Niten Chandra, Secretary of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW), and Guest of Honour Mr. Sandeep Dua, AGM of Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt.
