NATO's Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Thursday welcomed Romania's decision to provide Ukraine with a Patriot air defense system. Romania's supreme defence council said earlier on Thursday that it would donate one of the country's two operational Patriot systems to Ukraine, responding to pleas from Kyiv to its allies for more air defence assistance.
