A Noida-based YouTuber, identified as Ajeet Bharti, has received a summons from the Karnataka Police linked to a contentious video involving Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The video, titled 'Rahul trying Hard To Fuel Fire, Naseer Wants Modi in Skull Cap,' allegedly fosters enmity and ill-will among communities, according to the police notice.

The notice follows a complaint lodged by B K Bopanna, Secretary of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Legal Cell, at Bengaluru's High Grounds Police Station on June 15. Consequently, an FIR was registered under IPC sections 153 and 505(2), relating to promoting enmity between different groups and making statements that incite such feelings.

Bharti, who shared the contentious video on June 13, must appear before the investigating officer at the High Grounds Police Station within seven days of the notice. The local police confirmed that the Karnataka Police visited Bharti's home in Sector 57, Noida, to serve the notice, albeit without prior coordination with local authorities.
