Additionally, Avijit Banerjee, who was earlier moved to the Intelligence Bureau (IB) from his position as Purulia SP by the EC, has also been reinstated to his earlier role. Dhritiman Sarkar, who was previously with the IB, has been appointed as the SP of Paschim Medinipur district.
