UAE and Colombia sign comprehensive economic partnership agreement, UAE president says
The United Arab Emirates signed with Colombia a comprehensive economic partnership agreement, President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said on Thursday.
"This agreement paves the way for a new era of cooperation and mutual economic growth," the president said in a post on social media platform X. The announcement came one day after the UAE signed a similar agreement with
Costa Rica .
UAE's state news agency said the agreement with Colombia will help enhance bilateral trade flows by cutting tariffs, removing trade barriers and boosting investments in various sectors including energy, tourism and infrastructure.
