Angola’s President João Lourenço emphasizes Interior Ministry’s role for peace

The President of Angola, João Lourenço has highlighted the role of Ministry of Interior (Minint) in ensuring the peace and tranquillity across the nation. This was during the swearing-in ceremony of the Secretary of State for Technical Assurance of the Interior Ministry, Salvador José Rodrigues.
President João Lourenço voiced confidence in the work of the new assistant to minister of the Interior.
"He is an experienced official, and it is by trusting his great experience that we decided to appoint him Secretary of State," said Lourenço.
Salvador José Rodrigues was appointed to the position on December 4th this year. Until his appointment, he held the positions of the second commander general of National Police.
