Spain's Sanchez expects 27 EU members to agree on Ukraine in first half of 2024

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Friday said he was "convinced" an agreement between all the European Union's 27 members on Ukraine would be reached during Belgium's rotating presidency of the Council, which is set to last between Jan. 1 and June 30 of next year.
Sanchez added he would like to see Romania and Bulgaria enter the Schengen area by the end of 2023.
