Yemen's Houthis launch drone at air base in southern Saudi Arabia
- Country:
- United Arab Emirates
Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi movement fired a drone at a military airbase in Saudi Arabia's southern city of Khamis Mushait on Sunday, the group's military spokesman said on Twitter.
There was no immediate confirmation from the Saudi-led military coalition that has been battling the Houthis for more than six years.
The group has repeatedly targeted Khamis Mushait as well as other Saudi cities along the border with Yemen. The coalition says it intercepts most assaults.
