Japan PM says she exchanged timely views with Trump about China

​Japan's Prime ‌Minister Sanae Takaichi ​said on ‌Wednesday she had exchanged timely views about China with ‌US President Donald ‌Trump ahead of his planned summit with ⁠Chinese ​President ⁠Xi Jinping on Thursday.

Takaichi, ⁠who met Trump in ​New York on the ⁠sidelines of the United ⁠Nations ​General Assembly, said she wanted ⁠the US-China ties to contribute ⁠to ⁠international stability.
