According to US intelligence reports, China has been designated as the primary military and cyber threat to the United States, intensifying its capabilities for a possible control over Taiwan, as reported by the Taipei Times.
The intelligence community classifies threats to the US into two categories: "non-state transnational criminals and terrorists" and "major state actors," with China at the forefront, followed by Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard informed the Senate Intelligence Committee that China's military is expanding its technological reach with advanced weaponry and larger nuclear reserves.
