In a significant diplomatic move, China, Russia, and Iran have collectively called for the immediate end of what they term 'illegal and unilateral sanctions' against Tehran. The nations insist on abandoning aggressive tactics, including threats of force, in favor of respectful diplomatic engagement.

The call was made via a joint statement following discussions in Beijing involving senior officials from the three countries. This comes on the heels of Iran's dismissal of the US proposal to resume nuclear talks. The statement stresses that diplomacy and dialogue are the sole effective solutions for Iran's nuclear issue, advocating for an end to pressure tactics and support for UN Security Council Resolution 2231.

At the talks, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu, alongside his Russian and Iranian counterparts, underscored the importance of adhering to international resolutions to prevent escalation and foster diplomacy. Iran's position remains firm against US negotiations, perceived as an avenue to deceive global public opinion, as articulated by Iran's Supreme Leader.
