Over 3,000 Tibetans and supporters converged in The Hague to commemorate the 66th Tibetan National Uprising Day at the 'Europe Stands With Tibet Rally,' underscoring their unyielding dedication to Tibetan freedom in the face of Chinese oppression. Organized by the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), the event united a diverse coalition, featuring politicians, celebrities, and human rights advocates.

Kelsang Gyaltsen, former envoy to the Dalai Lama, delivered a striking keynote address, warning of China's expanding influence as a threat to European security. Gyaltsen emphasized the need for fundamental changes within China and called for a strategic alliance with marginalized groups, including Tibetans and Chinese democracy activists, to confront this challenge.

High-profile speakers like actor Richard Gere condemned China's actions and advocated for accountability. Richard Gere, known for his friendship with the Dalai Lama, passionately urged global leaders to act against China's human rights violations in Tibet. Similarly, former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom reinforced the global human rights perspective of Tibet's plight, while Dutch lawmakers and activists pledged ongoing support, spotlighting the international resolve in the Tibetan cause.
