PTI leaders have expressed dissatisfaction with government ministers' statements and called for a conducive environment for discussions.

Sources within PTI have indicated plans to submit their demands in writing in hopes of fostering trust before further negotiations. PTI ally, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, has emphasized a January 31 deadline for concluding talks, with formal communication of this deadline to take place on January 2.
