In Karachi, ongoing protests by the Majlis-e-Wahdatul-Muslimeen (MWM) have resulted in significant disruptions across the metropolis, according to ARY News. The demonstrations aim to show solidarity with the people of Parachinar, who demand justice after holding a six-day sit-in, as reported by Dawn News.

Key thoroughfares including MA Jinnah Road, Numaish Chowrangi, and Kamran Chowrangi, are completely blocked, causing widespread traffic chaos. Roads from Johar Mor to Johar Chowrangi and between Blocks 19 and 20 in Gulistan-e-Johar, as well as other areas such as Five Star Chowrangi and University Road, remain impassable due to the protests.

In response to the traffic crisis, Karachi Traffic Police have established a 24-hour helpline to assist residents. Sub-Inspector Ilyas Siyal detailed that a team is working round-the-clock to provide real-time updates and alternative routes, utilizing multiple telephones and surveillance cameras.
