The Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) has strongly condemned the recent bombing in Mastung, which took the lives of eight individuals, among them three children. Describing the attack as a continuation of the Pakistani state's oppressive policies towards the Baloch people, FBM labeled it as part of a systematic pattern of state-sponsored violence in Balochistan.
In a statement, FBM's spokesperson explained that Pakistan's oppressive policies, deeply entrenched in the regime, are expected to persist in varying forms, Balochwarna news reported. The spokesperson stated that the Mastung incident highlights a chronic campaign of violence intended to suppress the Baloch nation, pushing for the full independence of Balochistan as the only viable resolution.
The FBM spokesperson also sharply criticized the Iranian and Pakistani governments for prioritizing expansionist policies over the welfare of the Baloch people, accusing both regimes of committing atrocities with impunity. In outlining a path forward, the FBM urged unity among the Baloch people to build a strong political movement dedicated to the cause of Baloch independence.
