Dubai South and INDU Kishore Logistics have officially started the development of a substantial new facility within Dubai South's Logistics District, marking a pivotal step in their expansive growth strategy to become a leader in multi-industry logistics.
The groundbreaking ceremony, which took place with notable attendance including Abdul Basit Al Marzouqi, Deputy CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, and Kishore Lakhani, Chairman of INDU Group, heralded the construction of a facility covering approximately 23,000 square meters with a storage capacity of 75,000 pallets. This facility is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2025.
The strategically designed facility will utilize data-driven automation to manage spare parts of varying sizes efficiently. This modern approach ensures rapid processing times, boosting the facility's capacity to handle shipments efficiently. Key stakeholders expressed optimism about the development, emphasizing its alignment with Dubai's vision of emerging as a global logistics hub, especially in conjunction with upcoming expansions at Al Maktoum International Airport.
