In a bid to reinforce global stability amid mounting tensions, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday stressed the strategic alliance between India and Germany. This partnership has evolved as a robust anchor during these uncertain times, moving beyond transactional relations to become transformational.

Speaking at the 7th Inter-Governmental Consultations, Modi underscored the depth of their collaboration, particularly in defense, technology, and sustainable development. He lauded Germany's 'Focus on India Strategy', emphasizing new initiatives aiming at a comprehensive 'Whole of Nation' approach.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, attending his third meeting in India since assuming office in 2021, called for collective political solutions to global conflicts, emphasizing the importance of international law and the UN Charter. He noted that a successful Russian invasion of Ukraine would threaten global security and prosperity.
