German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, during his visit to India, called for international solidarity in finding political solutions to global conflicts, such as the Russia-Ukraine crisis and tensions in the Middle East. He urged nations to adhere to international law and UN principles for conflict resolution while addressing the Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business 2024.

In light of escalating regional tensions, Scholz warned that a successful Russian campaign in Ukraine could destabilize Europe and threaten global security. The Chancellor also highlighted ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, Korean Peninsula, and South China Sea as potential global flashpoints, emphasizing the urgent need for diplomatic resolutions.

Scholz's visit aims to bolster Germany-India relations, focusing on defense, trade, and clean energy collaboration.
