Shar Hassan, the President of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) Germany Chapter, appealed to the international community to condemn the injustices suffered by the Baloch people, during an event in Leipzig, Germany, according to a BNM statement. Hassan stressed the Baloch people's ongoing struggle for freedom and self-determination, highlighting human rights abuses by Pakistan's armed forces.

Addressing attendees, Hassan stated, "Our fight transcends territorial claims; it encompasses our dignity, culture, and identity, which have been suppressed for decades. International solidarity, like that evident today, fortifies our movement and broadcasts a message: the world is observing. We urge the global community to listen to our plight and join our pursuit of a free Balochistan." The event, attended by diverse groups, underscored protests in Balochistan that infringe on the Baloch people's freedoms, also acknowledging the role of women.

Hassan urged worldwide attention against the atrocities in Balochistan, advocating for decisive actions to combat such injustices. Enforced disappearances orchestrated by Pakistan's armed forces signal Balochistan's pressing issues. While fighting for autonomy and resource rights, the Pakistani state deploys various tactics to suppress peaceful protests, with recent reports indicating hundreds of enforced disappearances.

The event concluded with participants probing the speaker on the Baloch struggle's history and current challenges, as well as the potential for international support regarding the Baloch cause. (ANI)
