At least five casualties and 22 injuries have been reported following a violent assault on Turkish Aerospace Industries' headquarters near Ankara. The incident, described by Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, involved two neutralized attackers and occurred as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in dialogues with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Amid a backdrop of thick smoke and raging flames, Erdogan condemned the "heinous terrorist attack." Security footage revealed an assault rifle-wielding individual carrying a backpack, accompanied by a woman. The motive remains unclaimed, yet suspicions point towards the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), according to local sources.

The attack prompted swift international reactions. Russian President Putin expressed condolences, and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte reaffirmed support for Turkiye, emphasizing a united stand against terrorism. Meanwhile, local authorities are undergoing extensive investigations to determine the perpetrators behind this lethal act of violence.
