In a bold operation, Israeli forces targeted two terrorists from Hezbollah's elite Radwan Forces in southern Lebanon. The militants, armed with an RPG and a rifle, opened fire from a building but were swiftly neutralized in a drone strike, according to videos released by the Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday. Further investigations led to the discovery and destruction of a weapons depot containing an underground tunnel, numerous RPG missiles, mortar shells, military vests, and other combat gear.

In a separate mission, Israeli troops dismantled a missile launcher armed with four rockets aimed at northern Israeli communities. Additionally, on Monday night, Israel launched an attack on Hezbollah's primary naval base in Beirut, escalating the conflict further.

The confrontations have heightened after the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks, with Hezbollah, backed by Iran, intensifying rocket and drone assaults on northern Israeli areas. On Tuesday, a salvo of 20 missiles was launched, with Israeli defenses intercepting the threats or allowing them to fall in uninhabited zones. Shrapnel caused some damage in B'nei Brak and Kibbutz Ma'agen Michael. Amidst these attacks, over 68,000 residents of northern Israel are displaced, with Hezbollah's rocket assaults resulting in 59 fatalities, challenging the UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which restricts the group's operations in southern Lebanon.
