Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs, reiterated the UAE's dedication to a fair energy transition, as established in the UAE Consensus. Engaging in multiple high-level discussions, Al Olama highlighted innovation's crucial role in reshaping the energy landscape. These discussions included the Clean Energy Ministerial and Mission Innovation Dialogue.
The UAE's ambitious energy policies were underscored in sessions such as the Unlocking Future Fuels Ministerial Session. Al Olama presented the UAE Energy Strategy 2050 and led the Hydrogen International Trade Forum's third ministerial meeting. The discussions explored challenges and prospects for developing cross-border hydrogen trade, focusing on future fuels and innovative cooling technologies.
