In a determined declaration, Israel's Foreign Ministry deputy spokesperson Alex Gandler stated that the nation will relentlessly pursue every terrorist, ensuring an event like the October 7 attack never recurs. Speaking with ANI, Gandler emphasized Israel's capacity to learn from history to safeguard its future.
The Gaza conflict was ignited by Hamas's assault on Israel on October 7, leading to a deadly breach by approximately 2,500 terrorists from the Gaza Strip. In retaliation, Israel launched a counter-offensive targeting Hamas, aiming to dismantle the terror network while minimizing civilian harm. Gandler highlighted the ongoing war and the nation's strategic priorities, underlining the need to achieve these goals before discussing peace.
Addressing the potential for a two-state solution, Gandler conveyed that although it remains an option, peace strategies require the right conditions. Recent history, including peace agreements with countries like the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco, serves as a testament to Israel's commitment to achieving peace. The deputy spokesperson also acknowledged the absence of negotiations with Hamas, citing the disappearance of its leader Yahya Sinwar, amid intensified military actions against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
