In a spirited showcase of cultural unity, more than 200 South Asians convened over the weekend for a Navratri Garba and Dandia festivity, where participants also rallied behind Kamala Harris's presidential bid. The event underscored the urgency of mobilizing for the upcoming election, with influential community leader Ajay Bhutoria emphasizing collective efforts to elect Kamala Harris as the next President.

Bhutoria described the forthcoming November presidential election as "the most crucial vote of our lifetime." He encouraged community members to take tangible steps: registering voters, reaching out to acquaintances in pivotal battleground states, and volunteering for initiatives to bolster Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz. Bhutoria himself pledged to canvass in Philadelphia, inviting others to join his efforts.

Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have emerged as the Democratic and Republican presidential nominees, respectively, following their acceptance of nominations earlier this year. The United States is set to hold its presidential election on November 5. Bhutoria affirmed his vote for Harris, urging others to do the same in a concerted call for action.
