New Delhi, India - Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, the Chairman of the National Media Office and the Board of Directors of the UAE Media Council, is spearheading efforts to explore AI-driven innovations within the media and entertainment sectors. His recent visit to India underscores the UAE's commitment to becoming a cornerstone in global media advancements.

During his time in Mumbai, Al Hamed engaged with key figures at DNEG, a renowned visual entertainment services provider. He held discussions with Namit Malhotra, Director of the film 'Ramayana' and Chairman & CEO of DNEG, alongside Brahma Executive Chairman Prabhu Narasimhan. The dialogue centered around collaborative ventures in visual entertainment and advanced technologies.

In alignment with the UAE's strategic vision, which aims to bolster investments in both visual entertainment and multifaceted content technologies, Al Hamed emphasized the significance of international partnerships. The UAE is poised to ascend as a pivotal hub for innovation, with investments in AI expected to reach USD 5.22 billion this year, reinforcing its role as a leader in integrating advanced technologies.
