Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the initial 100 days of his third consecutive term, embarked on a vigorous diplomatic marathon, visiting seven nations, including Russia and Ukraine, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). His first international engagement as Prime Minister was the G7 Leaders' Outreach meeting in Italy, at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in June.

By July, PM Modi was in Russia attending the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. In August, he travelled to Poland and undertook a historic visit to war-hit Ukraine, marking the first-ever visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country, at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Over these 100 days, Modi also visited Singapore, Brunei, and hosted the 3rd Voice of Global South Summit (VOGSS), attended by 173 dignitaries. Concurrently, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar made diplomatic trips to UAE, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and several other countries. India's cultural diplomacy was highlighted with the inclusion of the Charaideo Moidam in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the first International Yoga Conference in South Africa, underscoring the Modi government's assertive foreign policy.
