Activists Protest in Geneva Against Pakistani Armed Forces Brutalities in Balochistan
Human rights activists and diaspora leaders protested near the UN office in Geneva against Pakistani Armed Forces' brutalities in Balochistan. Human rights activists from Sindh and Balochistan, along with members of the Baloch American Congress and diaspora leaders in Switzerland, protested near the United Nations office in Geneva. The protest condemned the brutalities inflicted by the Pakistani Armed Forces in the country's largest province, Balochistan.
Protesters, holding banners and chanting slogans, gathered in significant numbers at the Broken Chair monument. Razzak Baloch of the Baloch Human Rights Council criticized Pakistan for its continuous brutalities. He highlighted the conflict's history, noting that Balochistan was not part of Pakistan at its creation in 1948.
Baloch called for the withdrawal of Pakistani forces from Balochistan, Sindh, Pashtunistan, and Jammu & Kashmir. He condemned the enforced disappearances and human rights abuses in Balochistan, urging the United Nations to intervene and hold Pakistan accountable.
