The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the US Air Force have successfully completed a two-day Executive Steering Group Meeting (ESG), according to an announcement through an IAF post on X. The meeting, held from September 24-26, sought to enhance bilateral cooperation. Led by the Deputy Commander of Pacific Air Forces, the discussions emphasized close military ties and cooperation between the two nations.

On August 30, units from the Pacific Air Force of the USAF participated in Exercise Tarang Shakti at Jodhpur Air Force Station. As India's largest multinational exercise, it included participants from 10 nations and observers from 18 others, aimed at strengthening diverse operational capabilities like counter air, reconnaissance, and close air support.

USAF units such as the 25th Fighter Squadron's A-10 Thunderbolt II, the 148th Fighter Wing's F-16C Fighting Falcon, and the 139th Air Wing's C-130H Hercules participated, showcasing a blend of capabilities. Earlier in June, IAF took part in Exercise Red Flag 2024 in Alaska, marking the first participation of Rafale aircraft. Despite challenging conditions, over 100 sorties were completed, enhancing interoperability and operational skills in a multinational setting.
