According to a report by Al Jazeera, the Lebanese Health Ministry has confirmed that recent Israeli military strikes on Lebanon have resulted in at least 558 fatalities. Among the deceased, 50 are children, and an additional 1,835 people have been injured, as per the ministry's statement.

In retaliation, Hezbollah launched a barrage of missiles targeting Israeli air bases. This has spurred international leaders and the United Nations to call for immediate de-escalation. Overnight and Tuesday morning, Israel continued its strikes on Hezbollah positions, while the Iran-backed group fired rockets at several Israeli locations, including Haifa, Nahariya, the Galilee, and the Jezreel Valley.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) reported that the Air Force struck over 1,600 targets in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley, including missile launchers, command posts, and other terror infrastructure, some of which were located within civilian homes. Israeli artillery and tanks also hit Hezbollah targets near the border.

On Monday, the IDF noted that 210 rockets were fired into Israel. Several Israelis suffered injuries ranging from shrapnel wounds to panic attacks. A day earlier, Lebanon's Ministry of Health reported that Israeli strikes had killed 182 people and injured more than 700, according to CNN.

The Health Ministry of Lebanon stated that among those killed in the airstrikes were women, children, and medics. The Israeli military claimed it struck approximately 300 targets across Lebanon today. The IDF launched widespread airstrikes against Hezbollah targets, warning civilians to move away from homes used by the terror group for storing weapons.

The IDF identified Hezbollah operatives preparing to attack Israel. Israeli officials have been urging for Hezbollah's disarmament and removal from southern Lebanon, in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 Second Lebanon War.
