Tibetan leaders have reacted strongly to President Biden and Prime Minister Modi's comments on China during the latest Quad Summit. Sikyong Pempa Tsering, leading the Central Tibetan Administration, emphasized India's crucial role in the alliance, citing the visible threat posed by China.

Tsering stressed the significance of increased U.S.-India cooperation on strategic issues like microchips, reflecting on the competition for influence in the Global South. He noted the importance of the Indo-Pacific as a vital maritime trade route and the impact of China's hegemonic claims.

Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering supported the importance of the Quad's unified stance and congratulated Modi on India’s growing influence. She echoed President Biden's concerns about China’s global ambitions and urged global leaders to address Tibetan rights and seek peaceful conflict resolutions.
