Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed the significance of technology collaboration and efforts such as the Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (ICET) as essential components of the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. At a CEO roundtable in New York, PM Modi underscored India's dedication to inclusive innovations.
Addressing the gathering, Modi stated, "Over the past decade, Bharat has moved forward with the mantra of 'Reform, Perform and Transform.' Based on our experiences, we believe this mantra accelerates progress. As the world's largest democracy grows rapidly, it assures global peace and prosperity." Modi also emphasized the necessity of balancing technology with democratic values.
Highlighting the ethical use of AI, PM Modi remarked that AI stands for 'America-India' and is critical for bridging divides. He called for collaborative efforts between Indian and American tech companies to solve global challenges and invited them to explore co-development opportunities in India. He affirmed India's stable and predictable policymaking as an attractive factor for investors.
