The Indian diaspora in Delaware is brimming with excitement as they gear up to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chants of 'Modi, Modi' resonated through the air as community members made arrangements for the PM's arrival. Diaspora members from various US cities have converged near Philadelphia International Airport and the Hotel Dupont in Delaware to greet PM Modi. They expressed immense enthusiasm about his visit to the United States.

A member of the Indian community outside Philadelphia International Airport stated, 'We live in the US as cultural ambassadors of Modi ji. We aim to make India proud by following Modi ji's guidance.' Dr. Avinash Gupta, President of the Federation of Indian Association, added, 'We are excited to welcome PM Modi ji. This visit will further strengthen US-India ties, and we are eager to hear PM Modi speak.'

During his three-day US visit, PM Modi will engage in a bilateral meeting with President Joe Biden, attend the Quad summit, address the Indian diaspora in New York, and speak at the Summit of the Future at the United Nations General Assembly. 'I will be participating in various programs, including the Quad Summit hosted by President Biden in Wilmington. I look forward to the discussions at the Summit and my bilateral meeting with President Biden. Additionally, I will be attending the Summit of the Future and addressing a community program in New York,' the PM posted on X.

This visit marks the first instance of President Joe Biden inviting a foreign leader to Wilmington, highlighting his rapport with PM Modi, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. At the Quad Summit, the leaders will review the progress achieved over the past year and outline the agenda to assist Indo-Pacific countries in achieving their development goals and aspirations, as stated by the Ministry of External Affairs.

PM Modi will join President Joe Biden, PM Albanese, and PM Kishida to discuss regional security and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, aiming to bolster collaboration and safety in the region. (ANI)
