The AJP Tour Asia Continental Jiu-Jitsu Championship, a significant event in the martial arts calendar, commenced in Abu Dhabi from September 13-15. Gathering over 1,900 athletes, the three-day event, organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation with Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP), is a showcase of global talent across various categories including youth, amateurs, masters, and professionals.

Winning athletes in each category earn 1,400 ranking points, enhancing their global standing and opening opportunities to compete in the prestigious Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship. This year, the Championship witnessed substantial international participation, with 500 athletes traveling from overseas.

On the opening day, 1,000 competitors aged 4-17 showcased their skills, doubling the previous year's participation. Baniyas Jiu-Jitsu Club led on the first day, with the UAE's M.O.D Academy in the second spot. By the second day, M.O.D UAE secured first place, followed by Commando Group and Club Entropy Jiu Jitsu. The event underscores Abu Dhabi's rising stature in the global jiu-jitsu arena, bolstered by enthusiastic local and international participation.
