Dubai [UAE], September 15 (ANI/WAM): UAE National Team sprinter Maryam Karim has advanced to the final of the 200-meter race at the Arab Junior Athletics Championship in Saudi Arabia. Karim topped her semi-final group with an impressive time of 24.67 seconds, besting seven other runners.
Earlier, Karim clinched the gold medal in the 400-meter final, showcasing her prowess on the track. Meanwhile, her compatriot Mohammed Ahmed Al-Musaabi achieved a commendable fourth-place finish in the 800-meter race, competing against top-tier athletes from numerous Arab nations.
The 10th edition of the Arab Junior Athletics Championship began on September 12 in Taif, Saudi Arabia, drawing approximately 400 athletes from 18 countries. The event concludes tomorrow with a winners' ceremony.
