Ukraine's Ambassador to India, Oleksandr Polishchuk, expressed optimism that India will participate at a 'very senior level' in the next Peace Summit. Highlighting the global respect for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Polishchuk hoped Modi would attend, acknowledging his historical visit to Ukraine and significant discussions on achieving stable peace.

Polishchuk noted that India did not sign the final communique at the Peace Summit in Switzerland, but he urged India to play a more major role in future peace negotiations. He emphasized the importance of nuclear and food security, which are critical for the region, and reiterated the hope for India's high-level participation in the next summit.

During Modi's visit to Ukraine, he met President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and emphasized the need for practical engagement to find broad-acceptable solutions for the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The Ministry of External Affairs underscored India's consistent approach of facilitating a lasting peaceful resolution through dialogue and diplomacy, stressing India's continued engagement with all parties to achieve early peace.
