UAE and Egypt Strengthen Economic Cooperation at Arab League Summit

CAIRO [Egypt], September 6 (ANI/WAM): UAE's Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, met with Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt's Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, to explore avenues for enhancing economic collaboration. The meeting took place on the margins of the Arab Economic and Social Council meetings at the Arab League headquarters, chaired by the UAE.
The ministers discussed policies to invigorate the private sector, amplify productivity, and foster bilateral cooperation in devising and executing economic programs responsive to global shifts.
Talks also covered enhancing performance, planning system efficiency, and economic competitiveness through best practices that encourage development. Bin Touq affirmed UAE's Ministry of Economy's willingness to work with its Egyptian counterpart to advance both nations' development agendas. Dr. Al-Mashat highlighted Egypt's commitment to bolstering ties and collaborating in fields such as food security, infrastructure, and energy.
