Prime Minister Narendra Modi acclaimed Singapore for its role as an inspiration to developing nations during a meeting with his Singaporean counterpart, Lawrence Wong. Describing the India-Singapore roundtable as a 'path-breaking' mechanism, Modi praised the collaborative efforts, saying, 'We aim to create many Singapores in India.'

In his address, PM Modi emphasized the mutual cooperation in sectors like digitalisation, advanced manufacturing, and cybersecurity. 'Cooperation in fields like skilling, AI, healthcare, and sustainability has become the hallmark of our partnership,' he added, noting the presence of top Indian officials, including External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

Modi's visit encompassed numerous engagements, including meetings with Singapore's President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and other senior ministers. Highlighting the vibrant welcome he received, including interactions with the Indian diaspora, PM Modi's tour aims to bolster India-Singapore bilateral ties significantly.
